Cabin Hygiene Refresh
Operational hygiene for the next sector

CARION delivers the Aircraft Cabin Hygiene Refresh service as a complement to interior cleaning, focused on high-touch surfaces and key passenger-facing areas. We use cabin-compatible consumables and products, applied under agreed procedures coordinated with the operator, FBO and crew where applicable.

The objective is to leave the cabin with a sense of operational freshness, maintaining service continuity and respecting material restrictions, sensitive surfaces and access conditions.

High-touch focus FBO coordination Checklist & traceability
Service focus
Operational hygiene reinforcement on high-touch surfaces.
Priority on key zones and fast execution windows.
Aligned with operator briefing, access conditions and actual ramp window.

Operational scope: Non-clinical hygiene reinforcement service. Does not include maintenance, repairs or intervention in aircraft technical systems.

CARION Cabin Hygiene Refresh
Designed for turnarounds and pre-boarding

Seamless integration into the ramp sequence.

Designed to integrate into ramp operations and pre-boarding sequences without adding steps that compromise departure performance. Scope is defined by the actual window, access limitations and the operator briefing — supporting airlines, FBOs and VIP missions.

Service levels

Three standardised levels for airlines, FBOs and VIP operations. Final scope is confirmed at the operational briefing and adjusted to the actual available window.

Turnaround
01
High-touch focus
  • High-touch surfaces: seats, tray tables, armrests, handles and non-critical panels.
  • Transit areas and crew contact points where applicable.
  • Ideal for turnarounds and very tight operational windows.
Pre-boarding
02
Standard refresh
  • High-touch focus + additional coverage of passenger-visible areas per available time.
  • Reinforcement of service areas and galley surfaces when access is authorised.
  • Recommended for pre-boarding sequences and rotations with passenger change.
RON / VIP
03
Enhanced
  • Standard refresh + reinforcement of lavatories and high-frequency contact points.
  • Recommended for extended windows or RON scenarios.
  • Common on VIP operations or high-visibility sectors, subject to briefing and access.

Levels are not fixed packages. They adapt to aircraft type, operator policy, access restrictions and the actual operational window.

Service scope

CARION delivers an operational cabin hygiene refresh focused on frequently used surfaces and key areas supporting the passenger experience and crew workflow:

Cabin & High-touch
  • Hygiene reinforcement with cabin-compatible products per briefing.
  • Tray tables, armrests, handles and non-critical controls/panels.
  • Galley service surfaces and catering areas per available access and window.
Lavatories & Coordination
  • Basic refresh of lavatory contact points and frequently used elements.
  • Coordinable with interior cleaning and/or Cabin Readiness for operational continuity.
  • Rotation planning: between sectors, pre-mission or aligned with operator cabin policy.

Refresh is coordinated before or after interior cleaning to optimise stand time and reduce ramp interference.

Indicative timing

Indicative ranges for planning. Actual time may vary by cabin condition, occupancy, access limitations and catering coordination.

Light jets / Turboprop
10–25 min

Subject to configuration and agreed scope.

Regional (ATR / E-Jets / CRJ)
20–40 min

High-touch + galley/lavatories where applicable.

Narrow-body (A220 / A320 / B737)
25–50 min

Subject to rotation profile and airside access.

Wide-body (A330 / A350 / B777 / B787)
35–70 min

Advance planning recommended with confirmed actual window.

If amenities replenishment or additional verification steps are included, timing is adjusted at the operational briefing.

Safety, product compatibility & service limits

Safety & compatibility
  • Cabin-compatible products per operator briefing and material restrictions.
  • No products applied that could compromise leather, screens, panels or sensitive finishes.
  • Compliance with operator procedures and airport access/security requirements.
Hygienic scope, non-clinical
  • Operational hygiene reinforcement — does not replace regulated or clinical processes.
  • No clinical disinfection claims or medical treatment of pathogens are made.
  • Regulated sanitation protocols are defined by the operator and/or competent authority.
Sensitive areas & traceability
  • Flight deck: only with express authorisation and defined operator procedure.
  • No interaction with flight documentation, avionics or emergency equipment.
  • Basic log (date/time/sector) and checklist integration available on request.
